More Drama at School

King Edwards School Witley is a school with a dynamic drama department.

They bought Metrodeck late in 2019 for a spring production of Bugsy Malone.

The production was scheduled for the end of March 2020 so, tantalisingly, it got as far as the dress rehearsal before the country ground to a halt.

But the school’s commitment to offering great facilities for the pupils was unwavering. And they continued to make some very smart improvements.

Main Stage Floor

During lockdown we gave their stage a new vinyl finish - with a smart and practical edging.

Green Room Studio

We then began the transformation of the adjacent Green Room with a vinyl floor there too.

Metrodeck Tiers

Another Metrodeck package offers numerous seating tier layouts within the versatile space.

Theatre Seating

Finally, the addition of new portable theatre seats completes the move from Green Room and store into a truly flexible drama space.

When I was trying to explain what we needed, Phil knew exactly what I meant!
